IN THE BEGINNING...

The Pentecostal Church of God was established under the leadership of the Honorable Apostle Peterson in Meridian, MS in the winter of 1955; and, came to the City of Detroit, MI in 1958 with Detroit becoming the National Headquarters shortly thereafter.

 

Originally located at 1708 Davison Street in the now defunct Davison Theatre, The Pentecostal Church of God finally settled at 9244 Delmar Street.

 

In less than 15 years, under the Apostle Peterson’s leadership, the Church grew to encompass more than 60 local assemblies covering four Districts along the east coast and the north and south eastern portions of the United States.
