WHAT WE BELIEVE...

We believe that the coming of our dear Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is soon. However, as Scripture asserts, the Gospel must first be preached throughout all the world. As we mature in our journey of love and faith in Christ toward the ultimate goal of salvation and success in all areas of life; we know the sincere demonstration of Jesus' kindness and grace in the way we live our lives is the truest testimony of God's grace that can be offered.

We believe that it is Jesus Christ himself who graciously allows us to submit ourselves in humility to Him in true servant-leadership and genuine expression of love to all, thereby drawing all true worshipers to Himself in the expansion of His magnificent Kingdom.

A faithful servant of Jesus Christ, and devoted follower of the Word of God, Curtis Lee Simmons was ordained Bishop and Overseer of District 1 April 2021, after the passing of the great and beloved Man of God, Bishop Thomas D. Mason.

Under the Administration of the Mighty “Bulldog” Bishop Thomas D. Mason, Bishop Simmons soon established himself as one of Bishop Mason’s premier Mighty Men. Faithfully serving as an Elder and Pastor of the Jackson Assembly for 10 years.  As demonstrated in his profession as a doctor of medicine, Bishop Simmons has always exhibited a deep love and concern for the well-being of others. With an unwavering love and passion for Jesus and the Family of God, coupled with a back-bone of iron and face of flint, as Jesus’ Anchor Man, Bishop C. L. Simmons is God’s choice to advance the Pentecostal Church of God - District 1, into the final climb and across the finish line into the Kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

"...it is required in stewards that a man be found faithful."
(I Corinthians 4:2)

Jesus owns it ALL!

With this knowledge, the saints of The Pentecostal Church of God understand that we serve at the pleasure of Jesus Christ our Lord and savior. We each have our own personal testimony and unique experience of God's redeeming grace in our lives. This results in our sincere belief that all goodness and righteousness comes from the almighty Jesus; we are humbled and thankful for all of His many blessings. Because we have no goodness of our own; but, have been graciously permitted to share in God's goodness, our service reaches hearts, because it is genuinely from the heart.

Come and let us share our testimony of God's goodness with you!

"And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me." (John 12:32)
